Due to unfortunate circumstances beyond the control of management and employees, Terlingua Ranch Lodge and the resort facilities will be temporarily closed effective September 2, 2008. Watch this site for news of a grand reopening to occur some time in 2009. Reservations will be honored through Labor Day weekend, although the Bad Rabbit Cafe will close August 10th following the lunch shift. All other services of the resort will close at end of the day August 31st.

To all our friends and regular visitors we extend heartfelt thanks for your past support and we invite you to join us again next year when Terlingua Ranch Lodge and Resort will return, better than ever able to serve you and provide the peace, solitude and hospitality you have come to expect.

The Big Bend of Texas is a land of giant bluebonnets, spectacular sunsets, and the largest landscapes in the state. It is also the home of Terlingua Ranch Lodge.

Terlingua Ranch is the Big Bend. Situated between Big Bend National Park on the east and Big Bend State Park on the west, Terlingua Ranch offers solitude and all the incredible beauty of this unique country. We invite familes and groups to come enjoy the Big Bend desert with us. Pets are also welcome, and remember to bring the leash!
